Privacy Policy

YouTube Batch Uploader (“the App”) is an internal tool operated by the Noctua Games creative team to batch-upload, review, and schedule videos across the team’s YouTube channels. It is not a public product — access is limited to team members explicitly invited by an administrator or channel manager.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your name and email address, obtained via Google Sign-In, to identify you within the App.
  • YouTube channel access: when a channel manager links a YouTube channel, we store an OAuth refresh token (encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM) that lets the App upload videos to that channel on the team’s behalf. We request only the youtube.upload and youtube.readonly scopes — never access to your personal Google data.
  • Uploaded content: video files, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, tags, and scheduling metadata you submit through the App, staged in object storage until published to YouTube.
  • Activity records: an audit log of actions taken in the App (batch/video creation, approvals, rejections, publishes) for accountability within the team.

How we use this information

Solely to operate the App: authenticating you, uploading your team’s videos to the linked YouTube channels, routing videos through the review/approval workflow, and maintaining an audit trail. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention

Deleted batches and videos are soft-deleted and permanently purged (including their staged files) after a 24-hour retention window. OAuth tokens are retained until a channel is unlinked or access is revoked in your Google Account settings.

Who can access your data

Only team members with an explicit role (Uploader, Reviewer, or Manager) on a given YouTube channel can see batches and videos for that channel. Organization administrators can access all channels for operational purposes.

Third-party services

The App integrates with Google Sign-In and the YouTube Data API (to upload and manage videos). Staged files are stored on the App’s own server, not a third-party storage provider. No other third parties receive your data.
